How It Works
Massage therapy is often one of the highlights of a tournament and a memorable aspect for players, spectators, and contributors. Participants have provided positive feedback, including statements that the availability of a massage therapist was one of the premium extras that have made them want to come back each year.
There are a variety of ways massage can be incorporated into your tournament, including:
Pre-Game Warm-Up: Set up at the driving range, putting green or any other high-traffic area during registration.
On the Tee: Once the players are on the course, set up on a hole so that the players can make the most of their wait time, without causing any delay of play. This is usually on a Par 3 hole that tends to back up during tournament play.
Clubhouse: When play is finished for the day, set up at or near the clubhouse for those who want to alleviate fatigue and minimize soreness after a long day of tournament play.
The fee is $400 for the entire day. Arrival is prior to registration and length of stay is until everyone who wants to receive chair massage has had the opportunity to do so.
The fee for this service can usually be covered by a sponsorship, creating a win-win for your tournament AND the sponsor. Your tournament gets a highly appreciated and unique service, and the sponsor enjoys name recognition and tax benefits. Even if no sponsorship is available, the cost average per player is minimal.
In addition, 20% of any gratuity received will be donated back to your tournament's charity!
